The tests are available to anyone who needs it to detect the presence and diagnose of the virus, SARS-CoV-2.

Available Test Types
- PCR Test the method used to detect the virus is the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), that has high sensibility and specificity in simultaneously identifying various virus genes. This is the reference method for diagnosing COVID-19, considered the "golden standard”. The PCR test searches directly for the coronavirus SARS-Cov-2.
- Rapid Antigen Test is one of the methods to detect the COVI-19. This test identifies the presence of specific proteins of the virus and use high sensitivity and specificity monoclonals antibodies to detect SARS-CoV-2, from a Nasopharyngeal swab.
Results: Test results will be sent email on the same day in four languages Portuguese, English, French, and Germany:
- PCR test results: within 12 – 24 hours and the Antigen test results are ready in about 20-30 minutes, and are delivered within 4-6 hours.

SPECIFICATIONS ANTIGEN RAPID TEST: Rapid Antigen Test (TRAG): Sensitivity 91.4%/ Specificity 99.8%.
Important considerations
- Please be aware to book your test considering the 72 hours timeline required for many applications.
- If you cannot find a date available or any reason you need to change your test date, please contact us.
- Pre-Booking is mandatory to avoid unwanted agglomerations and please respect your booking time.
- Make sure you are aware of all the pre-requisites.
- If you need to change the type of test, please show up at the time of your test and request the change to the SIGMA SAÚDE team.

Cancelation or Refund Policy
If you cancel your COVID19 test up to 24 hours before the test date, you are entitled to receive a refund minus the administration fee.
Please note that refunds can take four to six weeks to process.
